Project:SR Development Log 3

Good day everyone. I am Riviere, the Head of Entertainment and the sole employee in DIAMON Creations' DIAMON Software.

I would like to start stating that this will be the final development log for the forseeable future, or at least until the demo version of Project:SR is finished and ready for release.

About Project:SR

Unlike our past titles like Film Makers!!! and Stuck!, Project:SR is a kinetic visual novel, meaning that there will not be any kind of routes for this particular game. However, I would like to reassure our followers that this is not the new norm and that there will be a traditional visual novel that is developed by me and Le El Vee.

The reason why we chose to develop this as a kinetic visual novel is that we have decided we should be able to create a finished product, however it will be more time consuming if we chose to create a more traditional visual novel with multiple routes, and since our schedule is not as stable as before, it might get cancelled before there is any significant development.

Plot

Le El Vee and I have finally decided to share the plot of the visual novel.

Project:SR's story follow Kazuki, a bullied boy, thinking of ending it all until Summer, a bright and lively girl, bumped into him. Our protagonist has suspicions about Summer's friendliness as she is seen as "too kind" or "too energetic", maybe it was a dare made by her friends. Will he finally find a reason to live for? Or will his suspicions be true? Find out once Project:SR releases.

While not specific to Project:SR, we would like to share with you a sneakpeek on our marketing project. If this becomes successful, then this will be our new way of giving out information about our projects. I will be uploading it in this development log.
